Friday means Wandavision. There are only two episodes left now, and I want to see how they wrap it up while simultaneously don’t want it to end. Marvel have put cinema-scale resources, including budget, into it, and it shows, but it’s carried by the writing and the acting, and is undoubtedly made for serial television rather than the big screen.
The ray of sunshine for Fridays is that For All Mankind returns today. Season one was gripping and clever; fingers crossed they’ve kept up the standard for season two.

I mentioned the other night about NHS Lothian not scheduling me for my first shot of vaccine until at least 1 April (per their website). I don’t have the link here, but NHS Lothian also appears to be lagging behind other Health Boards in Scotland. I’m really curious to know why that is, but I can’t find out.

Otherwise, today has been routine.

Music: the ancient ballads of Scotland are at the heart of what was, I think over-optimistically, called the ‘Folk Revival’ and Tam Lin, in various renditions has been a constant. And then Benjamin Zephaniah and Eliza Carthy got hold of it. This needs either big speakers or headphones. The second video is their live version; the third is a more traditional reading of the ancient text.
