Talked Out
No optical excitements today, no charts to try and read the bottom line with alternating lenses, no peripheral vision tests, no retinal scans (a very different process from when I was first prescribed Glasses around 1982.) The day started with WandaVision then moved pretty much straight to more editing and revising. I’m struggling to think of anything else I did today.
It would be nice to say that after supper I’d popped down to the pub for a pint or two and maybe finish a crossword. But I didn’t, and can’t wait to be able to say that I did.

Here’s the poptastic sound of The Monkees playing Neil Diamond. Or not. As best I understand it, Davy Jones was persuaded to record it and the track was issued as a Monkees single without approval. All that aside, and despite Don Kirshner getting fired for the recording and unauthorised release, it’s a cracking piece of pop. Rumour is it’s Neil Diamond on backing vocals : A Little Bit Me, A Little Bit You.
