Some days I think I should just have a set of check-boxes here; Groundhog Day? check; revising? check; not watched telly? check, although being Friday, I did watch the latest (excellent) WandaVision, but online. WandaVision aside, the most diverting thing I did was to help with someone’s car that was having problems on compacted snow and ice in the street.
Is anything else happening? Well, Covid cases in the UK are falling, which is obviously a good thing. The usual suspects are calling for things to open up again, apparently having not paid any attention for the last year. Vaccinations are proceeding apace, though I’m not sure when they’ll get to 61-year-olds; March maybe. In the US, Michelle Trachtenberg has said that it was a rule on the set of Buffy that she was never to be alone in a room with Joss Whedon; she was fourteen/fifteen when she started working on Buffy.
Also in the US, I think the ‘defence’ of 45 has sat down and we await the craven apologies for human beings in the GOP to exhibit their gelatinous spines. They may make a stand, but I doubt it. I would be pleased to be proven wrong.

Music : I’ve posted this before (Lo mèi d’abriu s’èis enanat), but not since 2019, so that’s OK then. While folk-rock things were happening in the UK in the seventies, they were happening across the channel too. Alan Stivell is the best known here I think, but Malicorne were pretty good too. This is from 1975. Marions les roses (chant de quête)
