After the sun, the deluge
I missed the Olympics opening ceremony because I was out at a retirement party but what I saw of it later was pretty good. The Games themselves were fantastic and I watched a lot more than I had anticipated, almost to the exclusion of anything else.
And then came the closing ceremony.
What a tedious, ramshackle, predictable piece of crapola that was.
