These Thoughts Illusion
Everything seems to have gone all Groundhog Day again: get up, have some coffee, mooch around on the laptop or with a magazine, then go to the desk and write. I’m happy to have picked up with the work in progress again, but creativity needs stimulation, and stimulation needs something other than Groundhog Day. I am, though, buoyed up by some very positive feedback I received last night.
We have an election at the end of the week, but Scottish politics is a cesspit and I’m struggling to work up the enthusiasm to do much except go out and vote. I won’t even get a late night out of it because the counting process is going to be extended due to Covid restrictions, and there won’t be an exit poll. In another world I might have been posting about the election here in detail, but there we are. Long-term readers of this blog will have a rough idea of who I will and won’t be voting for. As always, I would prefer to cast a positive vote but, once again, I’ll go with the least worst option given the make up of this constituency.

Music: I would have sworn I’ve posted this here before, but apparently not. In any event, it always puts a smile on my face.
