Boppin’ Through The Wild Blue
A quiet day, which is OK by me, even if I did have to think really hard when I woke up about what day it was. A quiet day means not much to say here, and that’s OK too because I’ve written a lot in the last few days. I haven’t even done today’s 1970 in Music post–I’ll write it up in the morning (50 years ago today: Bitches Brew, Miles Davis).
The cycle thing was great today. After a rest on Saturday and a 15 minute ride yesterday, I felt fine for 27 minutes this morning which is pretty much a doubling of time in a week after a decade of indolence. This is the time to increase the resistance of the bike, so tomorrow I’ll do a shorter time at greater resistance and spend a week or so building up again. I had a good walk this evening too.
I was editing a manuscript off and on through the day, trying to get out of a corner I’ve written myself into. I was able to do this outside because it was warm in the sun. Later, a replacement phone arrived and had to be set up. It will not be leaving the house until Wednesday, when I expect a case to arrive.
If that sounds like a slow day, well yes it was, and none the worse for that.
Music this evening from my iPod Shuffle playlist: I finished today’s cycle to this, a good adrenaline booster for a final two minute sprint 🙂
