Riding the Waves to Eternity: Hangin’ with the Cosmic Surfer

The first day of summer already, almost time for the nights to start drawing in. Two weeks from now I’ll be up where there isn’t much in the way of either phone or data signal and, to be honest, that suits me just fine. I’ll be in my favourite part of the country and, for some of it, with a tent and cameras.

I’d like to say that I’ll have my usual holiday journal online at the end of it, but since I have managed not to blog about Rome, Lisbon or Boston (or side-trips to Spain and Sweden) that may be a forlorn hope.

In the meantime, I am assured by my consultant at the Western General that my blood pressure is fine; he gently advises again, though, in writing this time, that I lose some weight. I think I’ve been here before.
